Burzerk Warranty ⚡️

At Burzerk, we provide the original owner with a 24 months or 10,000km manufacturer warranty. This warranty provides each original retail purchaser of a Burzerk electric motorbike with a warranty solely against manufacturer's defects. The warranty claim is directed towards the original purchase and is covered by the manufacturer.

Any Burzerk E-Bike components that arrive damaged including: frame, forks, stem, handlebars, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, bottom bracket, pedals, rims, wheel hub, derailleur, shifter, throttle, controller, LCD display, kickstand and wiring harness must be reported within 7 days.

24 Months | 10,000km Warranty: Ebike Frame, Seat Post, Saddle, Forks, Stem, Handlebars, Pedals, Bottom Brackets, Rims, Fenders, Kickstand, Brakes, Battery, Lights, Wheel Hub, Derailleur, Shifter, Throttle, Controller, LCD Display, Wiring Harness, E-bike Accessories.

12 Months Warranty: Burzerk's Samsung Lithium-Ion batteries are warranted for a twelve (12) month period from the date of original purchase.

Eligible Claims ✅

To be eligible to make a warranty claim you must:
✓ Be the original purchaser as listed on the receipt (proof pf purchase).
✓ Lodge your claim within the valid warranty period (24 months or 10,000kms) from the date of receipt.

How to make a claim? ✍🏼

To initiate a warranty claim, proof of purchase is required. Please keep your receipt or invoice readily available when contacting us.

We will need submissions of photos and videos of the damaged parts. In most cases, minor damages are easily repairable with the appropriate guidance, often requiring less time compared to other repairs. Rest assured, our team is committed to promptly addressing any issues that arise. Burzerk will not replace any parts without seeing photo or video content of the claimed damages.

Not Covered by Warranty ❌

Wear and tear is not covered under warranty for components. Nor does it include normal wear and tear parts being brake pads, tires, tubes, chain, spokes and grips.

Some troubleshooting steps might be required to identify the root cause of an issue. You may need to provide photos or videos and, in some cases, technical assistance from our team may require basic mechanical knowledge or tools for part replacement.

✓ Misuse (eg. impact, collision or freestyle activities).
✓ Water, natural disaster, fires, storms or floods.
✓ Foreign objects or debris.
✓ Incorrect fitment, installation or assembly.
✓ Fitment, Repairs or Services undertaken by unauthorised persons or companies unless otherwise permitted by Burzerk.
✓ Freight or Transport (Please opt for shipping insurance at the checkout if you require).
✓ Wear and Tear items eg. Tyres, Tubes, Bearings, Brake Pads, Discs, Seats, Perishables or Fluids.
✓ Lack of servicing or upholding the regular maintenance schedule as outlined on your manual. See Manuals Here.

✓ Modification, Alterations, and DIY Installation of parts or accessories on foreign product that are not supplied as original by Burzerk or where the device is altered from it's original manufacturers state.
✓ Any Packaging required to pack items securely to be Returned for Repairs.
✓ Products that were won as Prizes in exclusive competitions or giveaways.

Water Resistance 💦

While your Burzerk e-bike components are water resistant for mild or moderate rain, they are not waterproof. Do not submerge the bike in water or wash it using a hose. Parts failure due to liquid penetration is not covered under warranty.

Samsung Battery 🔋

Burzerk's Samsung Lithium-Ion batteries are warranted for a twelve (12) month period from the date of original purchase. The battery warranty does not include damage from improper maintenance, power surges, water damage or any wrong charging usage.

If a battery replacement is needed under our twelve (12) month warranty terms, we will ask for a $450-dollar deposit to guarantee the original battery will be returned to the Burzerk HQ. You will receive the deposit once we receive the return.

Terms of Warranty 📝

This warranty is strictly applying to the original owner of a Burzerk electric motorbike. This warranty does not cover any damages or defects from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, accident, misuse, abuse, alterations, improper assembly, wear and tear, water damage, off-road / stunt riding and improper quarterly maintenance. This warranty does not include normal wear and tear parts (Tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, spokes, chain and grips). As mentioned, Burzerk will not be liable for any damage or failure caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Manufacturing defects, including shipping damages must be reported to Burzerk during the first 7 days after receiving your product.

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. Burzerk is not responsible for any consequential, special, or cause-and-effect damages.

This warranty does not apply to products used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to rental or delivery services.

Labour and Transportation 🚛

This warranty covers parts replacement only. Labour costs and transportation charges, including third-party service charges (e.g., assembly or installation of replacement parts), are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty Extension 📈

Customers may apply for a warranty extension up to one day before the regular warranty period expires. Contact us to inquire about fees and coverage.

Shipping 📦

Inspect your Burzerk shipment immediately for any damage. Inspect your bike before the delivery driver leaves. Do not sign-off on the shipment unless you are certain no damage has occurred. This will help with shipping damage claims and create a more efficient resolution. Take photos or videos of any sited damage. All damages reported must be submitted within 7 days of delivery to Burzerk customer service representatives.

In the case of cosmetic damage such as scratches to the bike frame or components, we will provide a touch-up paint kit. Please note that scratches alone will not qualify for part replacement.

All disassembly and shipping costs necessary under warranty will be the sole responsibility of the owner. This warranty is only valid for the original and first buyer. Any other treatment, such as compensation or loss of use, is excluded. The warranty period cannot be extended through an additional warranty.

We guarantee delivery of the order to you. If the item gets lost, we will send you replacement free of charge; however, we are not responsible for delays in dispatch or delayed or un-scheduled deliveries. All our bike deliveries require a signature on delivery. The customer might be asked to pay “redelivery fee” if no one is available at the destination address at the time of order delivery.
