Founder’s Note

I had a dream—one that took me back to the bushy hills of my grandparents’ farm in Gawler, Tasmania.

My brother Damien and I were teenagers then, rippin’ through the dirt tracks on our motorbikes, full throttle. We pushed the limits like only fearless kids can. Whenever the parents yelled, “You better slow down—going berserk like that, you’ll hurt yourself!” it only fuelled the fire. We charged it even harder.

The scars on my legs? They’re still there—reminders of those wild rides and the raw freedom of youth.

That dream woke me up—literally. I sat on the edge of my bed, heart racing. And just like that, it hit me: I needed to go all in. I needed to go Burzerk. Five minutes later, I’d registered the domain name. No hesitation. No second-guessing.

From that moment on, I’ve been obsessed with building something that captures that same feeling—the adrenaline, the spirit, the “charge it” attitude. I partnered with global manufacturers to design and develop high-performance electric motorbikes—machines I’d actually want to ride. Elite electric bikes. Rugged, powerful, and built to last. Each model is a fusion of world-class engineering and raw Tasmanian (Australian) soul.

Back in our grom days—whether we were out in the surf, skating, or bombing hills on bikes—there was one phrase we always shouted when things got tough: “Charge it!” It meant: go for it. Push through. Don’t stop.

My Pop had his own version: “Go on, get on with it.” The definition of a true charger. That old-school grit—that no-excuses, get-up-and-go mindset—is something I carry into Burzerk every day.

Because life? It’s like the ocean. Sometimes it’s smooth sailing, but more often, you’ll face stormy seas—mentally, emotionally, physically. You’ll get knocked down. You’ll wipe out. But if you keep riding—keep showing up—the sun always breaks through. The waters calm. The breeze shifts in your favour.

That’s what our company slogan ‘Charge it’ means. It’s not just about pushing the throttle or taking the jump. It’s about showing up in life—through the chaos, the doubt, the setbacks. It’s about choosing to ride the wave, no matter how rough it gets, knowing the horizon is always out there.

And now, through Burzerk, I get to share that spirit with all of you.

This brand isn’t just about bikes. It’s about choosing courage over fear. Movement over hesitation. Adventure over routine. It’s a mindset. A community. A way of life.
